Hey! I’m Kristin and I LOVE Frugal living! Being frugal doesn’t have to mean that you always pinch pennies in a way that you can’t have fun and enjoy things though. Also, being frugal doesn’t have to come at a detriment to your health either.
Let’s get to know each other a little! I am a fitness trainer turned farmer who has always had a love of saving, re-purposing and being debt free. My husband, Justin, and I live on a few acres in the country with our 6 (yes, 6) dogs and lots of chickens and goats. Being frugal has allowed us to save enough money (in one year) to put a down payment down for our house – while going to school full time and working only part time. Frugal living for us means being cautious when it comes to how and when we spend both our money AND our time. (Afterall, if you save time it allows you to spend MORE time doing the things you love 🙂 )
I see a lot of people trying to save and struggling – either at the actual savings or just losing life enjoyment as they save. And it doesn’t have to be that way! I also see so many people being frugal and having their health take a hit – afterall, processed foods tend to be cheaper than fresh, healthy foods. But again, it doesn’t have to be that way!
I am so excited to share our frugal journey with you while we learn about Frugal Fitness, Frugal Food, Frugal Fun!
